About the Studio

Engineering-Driven Craftsmanship

Parallax began at the intersection of two disciplines: engineering precision and traditional woodworking. That foundation shapes everything we create—pieces that are not only beautiful but structurally engineered for longevity.

We work exclusively with solid hardwood and epoxy resin. Material honesty is non-negotiable. Every grain pattern, every live edge, every epoxy river tells an authentic story. There are no veneers masking lesser materials, no composites dressed as solid wood.

We narrow our focus to slab-based tables and desks, epoxy river tables, and curated design objects. This specialization allows us to refine our craft continuously, pushing boundaries while maintaining the standards our clients expect.

Our Principles

Material Honesty

Solid hardwood. Pure epoxy. No composites, no veneers, no compromises. What you see is what it is.

Engineering Precision

Every joint pre-planned. Every stress point calculated. Beauty, that is built to last generations.

Our Approach

The Process

Each commission follows a deliberate journey from concept to completion. We believe in continuous, open, 2-way communication throughout the entire commission process to ensure every piece receives its fully deserved attention to details.

for Epoxy Tables

01

Consultation

We begin with an in-depth conversation about your vision, space, and requirements. This is where we understand not just what you want, but how you’ll live with the piece.

02

Design Development

Our design process translates your vision into detailed specifications. We provide renderings, material samples, and precise dimensions for your approval.

03

Material Selection

We source exceptional hardwood slabs, often traveling to select the perfect piece. For epoxy work, we develop custom color formulations matched to your specifications.
04

Epoxy Casting

For resin pieces, the casting process requires precision timing, controlled temperature, and tremendous patience. Each river is unique—depth, clarity, and color carefully orchestrated.

05

Fabrication

Traditional joinery meets modern precision. Every cut, joint, and surface receives meticulous attention. We use no shortcuts, no compromises.
06

Finishing

Carefully sanded through progressive grits, then finished with your chosen treatment. Whether oil, lacquer, or specialty coating—the finish protects and reveals the material’s character.

07

Delivery & Installation

White-glove delivery and professional installation ensure your piece arrives and is placed perfectly. We handle everything with the care the work deserves.
